Yeeeh, snow. Its freezin cold. Landscape and camouflage are adapted as well.
Going out on mission with poor weather conditions, views of base and snowed landscape.
Enemy aircraft in sight... its a recon plane, R-10 type fighter. Piece of cake, see it by yourfelf.
More sorties in poor weather, but this time against massive 4 engine soviet bomers.
Those annoying AA batteries are much easier to see in snow since their camouflage does not change.

Those U2 biplanes seem a piece of cake on first look but they arent!!! I dont know if their flight models are realistic or somewhat overpowered, but they are harder to get down than any fighter I,ve met before in this sim. One of them actually shot me to pieces in a moment of distraction. IL-2 has no tactical display like the Microsoft CFS series, it has pointer arrows instead. The arrows point to enemy as well as friendly units (aircraft only, no ground objects or shipping, neither grounded planes), growing larger or smaller depending on the distance, but you cannīt see them coming on you as you do with the CFS tactical display - much more realistic this way!
