Flying out on mission with the already familiar Bf-109. See the fires that mark the runway in foggy weather. Also observe static scenery in background: german ambulance, half-track, radio truck and Focke-Wulf Fw-189 Falke.

Strafing soviet ground convoy. Yet more sunshine, dust, fire and smoke effects.

Now this is interesting: paused in the exact moment a lightning falls right across the runway. See how it illuminates the whole plane and the ground objects as well (ground objects are a line of R-10 fighters parked, which i was attacking).

There is the lightning, freezed, coming from high above and falling right on the airfield.

And this is how the cockpit looks inside during the flashlight. I see the designers kept not all but many effect details in mind.

A bit boring here, but thats how the smoke trace looks when you have engine damage.
